Products — Refurbished Goods

All products sold by Clinch IT are refurbished or pre-owned items. Each item is graded and described according to our grading standard (A, B, C or D), which reflects cosmetic condition. All items are tested and confirmed fully functional prior to sale unless otherwise stated. Full condition details, including grade, battery health where applicable, and any cosmetic imperfections, are disclosed on each product listing.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms of Service affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You have the right to cancel your order and return any item within 14 days of receipt, for any reason. See our Refund & Returns Policy for details.

Accuracy of Product Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications, and images are accurate. Cosmetic condition is described in accordance with our grading standard. Minor variations between the listing and the item are possible where the item has been described and graded in good faith. Material inaccuracies should be reported to us immediately.

Pricing

All prices are displayed in GBP and include UK VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel an order where a pricing error has occurred - we will notify you and issue a full refund in such cases.

Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of order. We accept payment by debit card, credit card, and other methods displayed at checkout. All card transactions are encrypted and handled securely by our payment provider.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Our Warranty & Guarantee for refurbished items

Every item sold by Clinch IT includes a 90-day Return to Base (RTB) warranty, covering all parts and labour. The warranty period begins on the date you receive your item.

What Is Covered

• Hardware faults that arise under normal use
• Component failures not caused by misuse or accidental damage
• Parts and labour for all approved warranty repairs

What Is Not Covered

• Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, or neglect
• Batteries — see battery policy below
• Cosmetic wear consistent with the item's stated grade at point of sale
• Faults arising from unauthorised modification or repair

This product is supplied as Used.

At Clinch IT, we stand behind the quality of every refurbished device we supply. Each device is processed through a controlled refurbishment workflow:

1. Data erasure: All data securely wiped using recognised processes
2. Hardware testing: Full functional testing including battery, screen, keyboard, ports and storage
3. Component checks: Memory, storage and internal components verified
4. Cleaning and preparation: Device professionally cleaned and prepared for resale
5. Operating system installation: Clean installation of Windows with activation confirmed
6. Final quality check: Device fully tested again prior to dispatch

UK Delivery

We ship to all UK addresses, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, and the Channel Islands, via DPD Local. All orders include full tracking and require a signature on delivery.

UK Shipping Cost

Standard delivery is free on all UK orders, including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, and the Channel Islands.

Dispatch Times

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday on working days. We endeavour to ship as soon as we receive your order. Orders placed after 12 noon will be dispatched the following working day.

Once your tracking number is updated, please allow up to 24 hours for DPD to collect your parcel — this is outside our control.

Signature on Delivery

A signature is required on delivery for all orders. If you are not available, DPD will leave a card and attempt redelivery, or you can manage your delivery via the DPD app.

Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow your delivery with DPD.
